Opens Friday, September 5

September 16–28

Experience a dynamic all-Balanchine program, featuring his drama-packed one-act take on the classic story ballet Swan Lake, alongside the sunny Donizetti Variations and the lyrical Ballade.

The season opens with Afro!, a thrilling world premiere by Wynton Marsalis. Featuring the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with djembe virtuoso Weedie Braimah and powerhouse vocalist Shenel Johns, this vibrant evening celebrates jazz's deep African roots.

The action-packed world of comic books comes to life on the Met stage in Mason Bates and Gene Scheer's gripping adaptation of Michael Chabon's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel.

Lear deBessonet directs a new production, envisioned for the grand Vivian Beaumont stage, starring Tony nominee Joshua Henry, Olivier and Grammy nominee Caissie Levy, and Tony winner Brandon Uranowitz.
