From NewYork-Presbyterian, the Official Hospital of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts
A strong core is foundational to your musculoskeletal health, and Pilates is a great low-impact way to strengthen those muscles. Not only does it improve stability — which creates better posture and reduces back pain — the mindful movement incorporated in Pilates improves awareness of how to control your body, helping with balance and reducing the risk of future injury, according to Dr. Jaclyn Bonder, a rehabilitation medicine physician at NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine.
Join us for this Pilates session, designed for all skill levels, to build a stronger core for your overall health.
The Art of Wellbeing series is presented in collaboration with NewYork-Presbyterian, the Official Hospital of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
